Dhaulagiri Trekking

Duration: 22 days | Grade: Challanging
Altitude: 5,360m.

"The Dhaulagiri French Pass Trek is surprisingly not frequented by many tourists. This 3 week dhaulagiri trekking route explores the quieter regions of Nepal and takes you deep within the Himalayas, giving you the chance to get up close to some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. "

Dhaulagiri Trekking is an exceptional trek that passes through staggering alpine terrain. It is definitely not a standard trek, being tough and demanding and has shocked many trekkers who expected something similar to the Annapurna Circuit or the Everest trek. Dhaulagiri region is a land of dramatic contrast. Round Dhaulagiri trek into the wild which shows the world’s deepest river gorge, unparalleled scenery, as you might expect in such remote country, some very interesting indigenous people. Dhaulagiri Trekking - The Dhaulagiri French pass trek is a tough trek in Nepal, suitable for trekkers with previous experience of trekking at high altitude. Book your Dhaulagiri Circuit trek or Round Dhaulagiri trek.

Seasoned mountain walkers with some experience of high altitude. This is a long and strenuous trek but the crossing of high passes does not require much technical ability. You must be in good physical condition and be capable of trekking for up to 5 to 7 hours a day over 'not easy' terrain for several days. The altitude and weather are also to be considered; at high altitudes the ambient oxygen level is down to approximately 50%.
