As you trek through the villages of the famous Sherpa people, you will be rewarded with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains that rise above the clouds. Tengboche Monastery trek follows the popular Everest Base Camp trail until Tengboche. Return to Lukla via Khumjung, one of the largest Sherpa villages and site of the famous Khunde Hospital and the Khumjung school, both legacies of Sir Edmund Hillary. Everest view trek is a short classic trek to the Everest, ideal for those not willing to walk all the way to Everest base camp or those not having longer holiday. Everest View trek is to the famous Tengboche Monastery (12,900 ft) in the Everest region of Nepal. The trek is at a relaxed pace allowing more time to savor the culture and the views and also allowing more time to acclimatize to the altitude.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel (1,350m. / 4,428 ft.)
Day 02: Fly to Lukla & trek to Phakding ( 2,610m. / 8561ft. (4 hrs)
Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar ( 3,440m. / 11,283ft. (5 hrs)
Day 04: Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar ( 3,440m. / 11,283ft.
Day 05: Trek Namche Bazar to Tyangboche ( 3,860m. / 12,661ft. (7 hrs)
Day 06: Trek Tyangboche to Khumjung ( 3,780m. / 12,398 ft. (5 hrs)
Day 07: Trek Khumjung to Monjo. ( 2,850m.)
Day 08: Trek Monjo to Lukla ( 2,840m. / 9,315 ft. (6 hrs)
Day 09: Fly back to Kathmandu ( 1,350m. / 4,428 ft.
Day 10: Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 11: Final Departure in your home destination.


NOTE: On Tengboche Monastery Trek of this type, weather, local politics, transport or a multitude of other factors beyond our control can result in a change of itinerary. It is however, very unlikely that the itinerary would be substantially altered; if alterations are necessary the leader will decide what is the best alternative, taking into consideration the best interests of the whole group. Where a change does occur, we do everything we can to minimize its effect, but we cannot be responsible for the results of changes or delays.

Recommended Trekking Kit
The following is a list of clothing and accessories that we recommend that you take with you. This is not intended to be a comprehensive clothing and equipment list, rather it is intended to act as a reminder of those items that we feel are essential for your comfort and convenience. However we recognise that you may have your own personal preferences for clothing which may be equally as suitable.


Walking boots with suitable ankle support that have been worn-in prior to the trek, and which are waterproof
Trainer or casual shoes, for trekking and/or for travelling
Warm socks for colder areas
Gaiters, in case of rain or snow


Loose, casual trousers for trekking
Thermal leggings for colder areas
Long skirt for women as an alternative to trousers
Waterproof trousers


Selection of T-shirts, and long sleeved shirts, preferably not cotton
